Community Guidelines

Community Guidelines — Figmentic|Words

Effective Date: September 6, 2025
Legal Entity: Xruseon, Inc., doing business as Figmentic, Inc. ("Figmentic," "we," "us," or "our")
Product: Figmentic|Words (the "Service")

Figmentic|Words lets signed-in users share a "Word" publicly — a Bible verse selected by date, its AI-assisted summary, themes, and reflection, together with any personal comment, reflection, or reason you choose to add. Shared Words appear on public pages (e.g., /shared/[id]) where others can view and like them. These Community Guidelines explain the spirit of our shared space and the rules that keep it welcoming. They supplement, and are part of, our Terms of Use. By sharing content, you agree to follow them.

1) Our Heart & Intent

We built the sharing experience to be an encouraging, faith-respectful space where people can be inspired by Scripture and by one another. Our hope is that shared Words point toward hope, reflection, and connection.

Encouragement first. Share what builds others up. A kind, thoughtful word goes a long way.

Respect across traditions. People from many denominations, backgrounds, and stages of faith use the Service. Assume good faith and engage with humility.

Grace over judgment. This is not a place for debate-to-win, condemnation, or gatekeeping. Disagreement can be honest and still be gracious.

2) What You May Share

When you share a Word publicly, you may include:

  • the Bible verse selected for the date and its associated reference;
  • the AI-assisted summary, themes, and reflection generated by the Service;
  • an optional personal comment, reflection, or reason describing what the Word means to you or why you are sharing it.

Share only content you created or have the right to share, and only the kind of content these Guidelines allow. Remember that anything you mark public can be viewed by anyone, indexed by search engines, and copied or quoted by others — so please do not include anything you would not want publicly visible.

3) Standards for Shared Content & Comments

These standards apply to every part of a shared Word you control — your personal comment, reflection, reason, and any text you contribute. Do not post content that does the following:

  • Disrespect across traditions: attacking, mocking, or demeaning people for their denomination, tradition, beliefs, or stage of faith. Honest reflection is welcome; contempt is not.
  • Hate, harassment, or bullying: slurs, dehumanizing language, threats, intimidation, or targeted attacks against any person or group (including on the basis of religion, race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or similar characteristics).
  • Spam or self-promotion: repetitive, irrelevant, or bulk postings; unsolicited advertising; affiliate or referral schemes; links or solicitations whose primary purpose is to promote a product, service, channel, or fundraiser.
  • Explicit, violent, or illegal content: sexually explicit or pornographic material, graphic violence or gore, content that promotes self-harm, or anything that depicts, facilitates, or encourages illegal activity.
  • Exploitation of minors: any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor. This is prohibited absolutely and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • Doxxing or privacy violations: posting another person's private or identifying information (such as home address, phone number, email, or financial details) without their consent, or sharing private communications.
  • Misinformation presented as official doctrine: framing personal interpretation, AI-generated text, or unverified claims as the official teaching, ruling, or position of Figmentic, any church, denomination, or religious authority. Share your reflections as your own.
  • Impersonation or deception: pretending to be another person, organization, or an official representative of Figmentic, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
  • Copyright and license violations: reproducing text, images, or other material you do not have the right to share. In particular, respect Bible-translation licenses — some translations are public domain, but others are licensed and may not be reproduced beyond what the publisher permits. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the applicable license.

A Note on Scripture & AI Content

AI-assisted summaries, themes, and reflections are tools for inspiration, not authoritative interpretation, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Please do not present them — or your own reflections — as official doctrine. When you share, you help others most by being honest about what is Scripture, what is AI-generated, and what is simply your personal perspective.

4) You Are Responsible for What You Share

You are solely responsible for the content you share and for ensuring you have the rights to share it. Content you make public is your "Customer Content" as described in our Terms of Use, and by sharing it you grant Figmentic the license described there — a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service, including displaying it on public pages such as /shared/[id].

Your ownership stays yours. Granting us this license does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Public means public. Once shared, your Word may be viewed, liked, indexed, cached, or copied by others. We cannot guarantee removal from third-party copies, search-engine caches, or screenshots.

You can stop sharing. Where the Service provides controls, you may unshare or delete content you posted. Deleting your account also removes your shared Words from the Service going forward, subject to the retention practices in our Privacy Policy.

5) Moderation

We want this space to stay safe and encouraging. To that end, we may — but are not obligated to — review, monitor, screen, edit, restrict, hide, or remove any shared content, with or without notice, at our discretion.

  • We may remove or restrict content that violates these Guidelines, our Terms of Use, or applicable law, or that we otherwise believe is harmful to the community or the Service.
  • We may limit the visibility or reach of content, disable likes or sharing, or take other proportionate measures.
  • We may limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Guidelines or that create risk for other users or the Service.
  • We may use automated tools (including AI), abuse-detection systems such as Firebase App Check, and human review to enforce these Guidelines.

We are not a publisher of user-generated content and do not endorse any shared Word. The absence of moderation action on a given piece of content does not mean we have reviewed or approved it.

6) Reporting a Word or User

If you see a shared Word, comment, or user that you believe violates these Guidelines, please tell us. Email support@figmentic.com and include:

  • the share URL (for example, the /shared/[id] link to the Word), or enough detail to identify the user or content;
  • a brief description of the problem and which Guideline you believe it violates;
  • any context that helps us understand the report (for example, a screenshot or the date and time you saw it).

We review reports and take action where appropriate. To report content that infringes your copyright, follow the DMCA/copyright process in our Terms of Use by contacting legal@figmentic.com. To report a privacy concern about your personal information, contact privacy@figmentic.com.

7) Consequences for Violations

We aim to respond proportionately, based on the severity of the violation, whether it appears intentional, and any history of prior issues. Possible actions include:

  • a warning or request to edit or remove the content;
  • removal, hiding, or restriction of the shared Word or comment;
  • limiting your ability to share publicly or to use certain features;
  • temporary suspension of your account;
  • permanent termination of your account and access to the Service.

Serious violations — such as content that exploits minors, makes credible threats, or is otherwise illegal — may result in immediate removal and termination without prior notice, and we may report such content to law enforcement. We may also preserve and disclose information as permitted by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

8) Appeals

We are human and we sometimes get it wrong. If you believe we removed your content or restricted your account in error, you may appeal by emailing support@figmentic.com. Include your account email, a description of the action you are appealing, the share URL or content in question if available, and why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review appeals in good faith, though we cannot guarantee a particular outcome and our decisions are final.

9) Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines as the Service evolves. If changes are material, we will notify you (e.g., email or in-app). Continued use of the sharing features after the effective date signifies acceptance.
