Product: Figmentic|Words (the "Service")
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when individuals use Figmentic|Words to generate AI-assisted summaries and themes based on Bible passages associated with the current date (e.g., month = chapter, day = verse). Please read carefully; by using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1) Scope
This Policy applies to information collected through our websites, apps, emails, and related experiences where we link to this Policy. It does not cover third-party sites, apps, or services we do not control.
2) What We Collect
We collect the minimum information needed to operate a lead-magnet experience and improve the Service.
Account/Contact Data (if you sign up): name, email, password (hashed), and communication preferences.
Lead-Magnet/Marketing Data: email address, referral source/UTM tags, signup timestamps, and engagement (opens/clicks).
App Inputs ("Customer Content"): selected date(s), Bible book selection(s) if you override defaults, your prompts, preferences (e.g., translation choice if offered), and any free-text notes.
Outputs: AI-generated summaries, themes, and suggestions.
Usage & Device Data: IP address, device/browser type, OS, app version, pages visited, and diagnostic logs.
Payment Data (if you later purchase): processed by our payment partners (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
Cookies & Similar Tech: session management, remembering preferences, analytics, and performance. See Cookies below.
Sensitive Inferences (Religion)
Using Figmentic|Words may imply religious interests or beliefs (a "special category" under some laws). We treat this data with extra care, minimize collection, and use it only to deliver the Service and communications you request (see Legal Bases below).
3) How We Use Information
- Provide & Personalize the Service: generate summaries, remember preferences (e.g., translation), and suggest related readings.
- AI Processing: send prompts and applicable scripture text/metadata to our AI provider(s) to produce outputs.
- Communications: send you requested resources, onboarding tips, support replies, product updates, and marketing (with your consent where required).
- Analytics & Improvement: understand aggregated usage and improve quality/safety.
- Security & Abuse Prevention: detect misuse, fraud, or service disruptions.
- Legal Compliance: comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
4) Children's Privacy
Figmentic|Words is designed for a general audience and not directed to children under the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction (e.g., 13 in the U.S.). If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.
5) Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We share only as follows:
- Service Providers/Sub-Processors: hosting, storage, logging, analytics, messaging, payment processing, and AI model providers (e.g., Gemini). Providers act under contract, confidentiality, and security obligations.
- At Your Direction: if you choose to export/share outputs.
- Legal/Safety: to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business Transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, as permitted by law.
- Aggregated/De-identified Data: that cannot reasonably identify you.
6) AI & Model Providers
We process Customer Content through AI services to generate summaries. Our policy is not to use your Customer Content to train models we control unless you opt in. For third-party AI providers, we configure available settings to limit training and retention where possible and bind providers contractually. Practices may evolve; our current sub-processor list is available upon request.
7) Legal Bases (EEA/UK and similar jurisdictions)
- Contract: to deliver the Service you request.
- Legitimate Interests: service improvement, security, and basic analytics (balanced against your rights).
- Consent: marketing emails and handling of special-category inferences (religion) where required; you may withdraw consent at any time.
8) Data Retention
- Customer Content & Outputs: retained until you delete them or your account, or 24 months after last activity, whichever comes first.
- Logs/Diagnostics: typically 12 months.
- Transactional Records: retained as required by tax/financial laws.
We may retain limited data to comply with law, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes.
9) Security
We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege). No system is 100% secure—please use strong, unique passwords and keep them confidential.
10) Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve content. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.
11) International Transfers
We are U.S.-based. Your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on approved transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
12) Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object/opt out of certain processing:
- California (CPRA): right to know/delete/correct; limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information; non-discrimination.
- EEA/UK (GDPR): access/rectify/erase; object/restrict; data portability; lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Our Service may link to third-party sites; their privacy practices are their own.
14) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified (e.g., email or in-app). Continued use after the effective date signifies acceptance.
