1) About Figmentic|Words

The Service looks up Bible references based on date (e.g., September 6 → chapter 9, verse 6) and can process that text, your prompts, and your settings through AI to generate summaries and thematic insights.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (e.g., 13 in the U.S.) to use the Service. If you create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your account.

3) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• violate law or third-party rights (including copyright);
• upload unlawful, hateful, harassing, or defamatory content;
• attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service;
• use the Service to build a competing model/service or to benchmark for publication without our prior written permission;
• circumvent usage limits or security controls.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

4) Your Content & License to Us

You retain ownership of your prompts, notes, and other content you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant Figmentic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display Customer Content only as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service (including via our service providers and AI providers). We do not use Customer Content to train models we control unless you opt in.

5) AI-Generated Content

Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or offensive. Verify important information independently. You receive a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use outputs for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and any third-party rights (e.g., scripture publisher licenses).

6) Scripture Sources & Licensing

If you select a translation that requires permission for reproduction, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the applicable license. We may limit display length or provide references only to respect publisher rights.

7) Free, Beta, and Changes

Parts of the Service may be free, promotional, or beta. Features and availability may change or end at any time. We may introduce paid tiers in the future with separate or updated terms.

8) Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy (above), which explains how we handle personal information, including religious inferences and AI processing.

9) Affiliate Links & Monetization

Our Service may contain affiliate links to books, resources, or other products related to faith, Bible study, or spiritual growth. When you click on these links and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

10) Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party vendors (e.g., hosting, analytics, AI providers such as Gemini). Your use of outputs may be subject to those providers' terms where applicable.

11) Feedback

If you provide ideas or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without any obligation to you.

12) DMCA/Copyright Complaints

If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@figmentic.com with:

• your contact info,
• identification of the copyrighted work,
• the allegedly infringing material and its location,
• a statement of good-faith belief,
• a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized, and
• your physical or electronic signature.

We may remove content and, in appropriate cases, terminate repeat infringers.

13) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." FIGMENTIC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR ERROR-FREE.

14) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIGMENTIC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM—WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers/limitations; some terms may not apply to you.

15) Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold Figmentic harmless from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

16) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access with or without notice if we believe you violated these Terms or risk harm to the Service or others. Upon termination, sections intended to survive (e.g., 4–6, 11–17) will survive.

17) Governing Law; Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of state and federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming.

18) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you (e.g., email or in-app). Continued use after the effective date signifies acceptance.
